To capacitate themselves in preparing their syllabi for the IPTED Curriculum, around 36 faculty members joined a series of webinars conducted this September via Zoom. On September 1, 2021, Atty. Ladylene B. Frogoso of NCIP talked on the rights and relevant laws protecting the Indigenous Peoples while on September 6, Dr. Elizabeth A. Calinawagan, retired UP Baguio professor, tackled profoundly the topic related to ethnolinguistics or IP languages. On September 8 and 9, Dr. Serafin L. Ngohayon, former IFSU President, discussed topics on living traditions and indigenous crafts, arts and literature. Other topics will be tackled in the future. It is the goal of the concerned faculty to come up with new syllabi after the training. Dr. Agnes S. Reyes, Director for IPEd and Extension, spearheaded the conduct of capacity building training.
