JULIEVIC DE GUZMAN-PALTING, PhD, is an Associate Professor V of Philippine Normal University North Luzon. She finished Bachelor of Elementary Education with specialization in Reading at the Philippine Normal College, Alicia, Isabela and Master of Arts in Education Major in Filipino at the University of La Salette, Santiago City. She also completed her academic requirements in Doctor of Philosophy in Educational management at PNU North Luzon. She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy in Araling Filipino-Wika, Kultura at Midya at De La Salle University, Taft Avenue, Manila as a CHED K-12 Transition Program Scholar.
Currently, Dr. Palting is assigned as the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Development. She also served as the Program Coordinator of the Bachelor in Filipino Education program (January-April, 2020), Director for Finance and Development (2015-2017), Associate Dean of Faculty of Teacher Development (2014-1015), Head of the Department of Languages, Linguistics and Literature (March 2012-2014), and Officer-In-Charge of the Office for Planning, Research and Extension (January 2012-March 2012).
Dr. Palting teaches Filipino major courses in the undergraduate program. She is also a co-author of several books in Filipino, a paper presenter in national and international conferences, and published several researches in refereed journal.
