CLEMENTE M. AGUINALDO JR., PhD, is an Associate Professor V of the Faculty of Teacher Development and the Program Coordinator of the Bachelor in Mathematics Education program of Philippine Normal University North Luzon, Alicia, Isabela.

He finished his PhD in Science Education with Specialization in Mathematics at De La Salle University, Taft Avenue, Manila as a CHED K to 12 Transition Program Scholar. His dissertation was on the knowledge and practices of mathematics teachers in assessing learners’ 21st century skills. He finished another PhD in Educational Management at the University of La Sallete, Santiago City where he also earned his Master of Arts in Education Major in Mathematics. In addition, he completed his academic requirements for a Master of Arts in Education with specialization in Mathematics Education at Philippine Normal University Manila. He obtained his Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics at Philippine Normal University North Luzon.

Dr. Aguinaldo has presented his research studies in national and international conferences, such as in Malaysia and Hong Kong, and has published several research in reputable journals. His research interests include contextualization of instructional materials, teacher behavior, mathematics anxiety, mathematics competency, and assessment. He also co-authored and edited books in basic statistics, contemporary mathematics, fundamentals of mathematics, and college algebra. He handles classes in calculus, linear algebra, abstract algebra, logic and set theory, trigonometry, and discrete mathematics.

At present, Dr. Aguinaldo is the Lead Auditor of the PNUNL Internal Quality Audit team, a member of the local Faculty and Academic Staff Evaluation (FASEC) Committee, and a lecturer in the PhD program of Linking Standards and Quality Practice (LiSQuP) Project of PNU and DepEd. He also served as Head of the Knowledge Management Office in the campus.
