EDILBERTO M. ANDRES JR., MAEd, is a full-time Associate Professor of Philippine Normal University North Luzon. He is currently the Extension Coordinator of the Mathematics Program of the University. He also held various administrative posts as Head of the Department of Science in 2012-2014, Head of Facility Management and Auxiliary Services (FMAS) in 2014-2015, and Head of the Human Resource Group in 2017-2018.

Prof. Andres obtained his Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) Major in Mathematics with minor in Library Science at St. Mary’s University, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, and his master’s degree in Mathematics at University of La Salette, Santiago City. He is presently working on his dissertation on a Proposed Pre-Service Training Program for Teacher Education Institutions of Isabela for his Doctor in Mathematics Education at St. Paul University Philippines, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. He was a recipient of Short Term Scholarship for Foreign Teachers of Chinese Language and Culture at Beijing Language and Culture University, Peoples Republic of China.

He authored various mathematics textbooks for higher education and published numerous researches in international accredited journals. He is an international and national research presenter, a LET reviewer and serves as resource speaker in topics related to mathematics programs, projects and activities. He is also a regional trainer for K-12 teachers of Mathematics 10 after successfully completing the National Training of Trainers (NTOT) in Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City.
