NICETTE N. GANAL, EdD, is Professor V and full-time faculty of the Faculty of Teacher Development, Philippine Normal University North Luzon in Alicia, Isabela. She is a graduate of BSEEd, Cum Laude at Philippine Normal College, Alicia, Isabela in March, 1983; Master of Arts in Education with specialization in Educational Administration and Doctor of Education with specialization in Educational Administration at PNU Manila in May, 1993 and October, 2005, respectively. She served as the Officer-In-Charge, Office of Director for Finance and Administration of the same institution. Her previous designations also include: Head, Department of Education and Pedagogy, June 2005-March 2012; Deputy Director for Finance and Administration, March 2012-May 2015; Director for Finance and Administration, June 2016-September 2017 in PNU South Luzon; OIC Head, Knowledge Management Office and concurrent Budget Officer effective term 2 of SY 2017-2018; and OIC, Office of the Registrar and concurrent Budget Officer, October 2018-June12, 2019. 

Dr. Ganal is a licensed professional teacher and a CS professional examination eligible. Her research interests are on curriculum, language, assessment, management, career and psychology. She has presented her papers in national and international conferences in the Philippines, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Australia. She has also attended and participated in international conferences in reading and education in USA in 2001 and Edinburgh, Scotland in 2002. Her research articles have been published in The Normal Lights, EDUCARE, and ASTEN journals.

Dr. Ganal is an accreditor of the Accrediting Agencies of Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines (AACCUP). She was granted a one-year sabbatical leave to conduct research in indigenous peoples education at the University of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada in 2016. The research has been completed and has been presented in international conferences and likewise published in a CHEd accredited refereed journal in 2017.
