RICHMOND ZITO T. MAGUIGAD, Ph.D., is a faculty of Philippine Normal University North Luzon. He is a member of the Faculty of Teacher Development handling Professional Education courses and as Scholarship Coordinator in the Office of Student Services. Prior to his current post, he served as one of the National Service Training Program (NSTP) coordinators (2002-2014) and Dance Director of the Danggayan Cultural Group (2004-2007), which shows his versatility.

He finished his Bachelor of Secondary Education with a double major in Mathematics and Physical Education, Health and Music (PEHM) at University of La Salette, Santiago City. He also obtained his Master of Arts in Education and Ph.D. in Educational Management in the same school. Currently, he is pursuing his second PhD in Early Childhood Education at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Malaysia.

As an advocate of Movement Based Learning, he encourages his students to integrate movement-based instruction as a teaching and learning method with the concept that students learn better through movement.
