EDIZON B. ABON, MAEd, a.k.a. EBA is a faculty of Philippine Normal University North Luzon under the Faculty of Teacher Development. Prior to his current post, he served as Araling Panlipunan Club Adviser at Casa Del Niño Montessori School of Ilagan, City of Ilagan, Isabela (2002-2008) and Student Supreme Government (SSG)  Adviser at the Regional Science High School of Cagayan Valley, Tumauini, Isabela (2009-2013). 

Prof. Abon has earned his Master of Arts in Education with specialization in Social Science Teaching from Philippine Normal University North Luzon. He also finished his Bachelor in Secondary Education with specialization in Social Science from PNUNL. He is currently enrolled in PhD Philippine Studies with specialization in Anthropology at the University of the Philippines Diliman working with his proposed dissertation focused on culture of Ibanag gays and their contribution to socio-cultural development. 

He is an advocate of gender equality and cultural development. His professional attention is the utilization of Indigenous Peoples Knowledge Systems (IPKS) in the educational system to achieve useful and functional education needed for the genuine development of the Filipino nation.
