JUDITH R. GARCIA, MAEd, is a faculty of Philippine Normal University North Luzon. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology at De La Salle University, Manila with Educational Sociology as her track. Her study is focused on the life experiences of women teachers on vertical social mobility. She also finished her Master of Arts in Education with Specialization in Social Science Teaching at Philippine Normal University North Luzon in 2014. Prior to this, in 2007, she finished her Master of Arts in Education with Specialization in Educational Management and immediately enrolled in Doctor of Philosophy in the same specialization where she finished the academic requirements.
Her previous researches focused on the predictors of Licensure Examination for Teachers, voting behavior and preferences of teachers, evaluation of student services in the university, life cycle of indigenous peoples, and issues affecting women’s causes. Her most recent focus is the teaching of readings in Philippine history, special topics in economics, civics, and sociological and political theories.
