Philippine Normal University North Luzon Campus aced its place to 4th rank in September 2019 Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) secondary level in the entire Philippines.

For first time takers, there were 237 passers out of 250 takers. There was a total of 236 passers out of 266 takers, including retakers or 89.47% based on the result released by the Philippine Regulatory Commission on December 1, 2019. Also, 28,973 elementary teachers out of 92,440 examinees and 54,179 secondary teachers out of 136,523 examinees (39.68%) successfully passed the exam.

This year also, the university once again joined the ranks of top performing schools in the country including PNU Manila (Top 7, 86.87%) and PNU Mindanao (Top 8, 85.19%).

“The campus is working for the formula to keep the branding at pace, and it is both a challenge and victory not only for the university but for all the students who will be entering the institution,” Dr. Elena A. Navas, Executive Director and Provost quipped.

Meanwhile, the day of release of the BLEPT result was also the day when the Philippine Normal University Admission Test (PNUAT) was administered through all five other campuses nationwide.
