After a year of preparation for the 50th Founding Anniversary, PNUNL culminates this event today, July 27, through Pammadayaw, a program to recognize stakeholders, faculty and administrative staff and former campus administrators of the university.
Lot donors, loyalty awardees from the faculty and staff and former Executive Directors of the campus were all hailed and recognized for their contributions to the achievement of the university. In her response as an awardee, Dr. Marites C. Geronimo, former Executive Director and Provost, expressed her gratitude to the stakeholders who have always supported and committed to the university through the years. She emphasized that the success of the institution relies on the effort of each member of the community and not just the leaders themselves.
Dr. Bert J. Tuga, University President together with the Guest of Honor and Speaker Hon. Joel Amos Alejandro, Dr. Lordinio A. Vergara, Vice President University Relations and Advancement, Mr. Harry Huliganga, Vice President Finance and Administration, Dr. Leticia N. Aquino, Executive Director and Provost, graced the ceremony and presented the awards to the recipients.
Meanwhile, the activities planned since July 2020 have all been well realized through the leadership of Dr. Madonna Castro-Gonzales, Dean for Academics and IPEd and overall chair to the 50th Founding Anniversary.
Finally, only select participants were allowed in the event while necessary health protocols and restrictions in effect to the locality were strictly followed.
