After three rounds of rigorous selection processes, the PNU Board of Regents (BOR) finally confirmed Dr. Bert J. Tuga as the university’s new president.
“Dr. Tuga won the presidency with the Regent’s votes of 6-3 in favor of him,” Student Regent Alexis Sebote said affirming the news stating Tuga’s victory.
Dr. Tuga, the 11th president of the PNU system, released his first official statement immediately after his confirmation through an email send by the University’s Archives and Records Management Univer (UARMU).
In the said email, Dr. Tuga expressed his gratitude to the Board of Regents, academic and administrative communities, alumni and students to their support and trust.
